San Francisco: Bomb Explodes in Tenderloin Neighborhood; Second Bomb Found

A bomb exploded in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Friday, injuring a man who was taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds.

Additionally, a second bomb was discovered later on Friday by a bomb squad. 

Golden Gate Avenue is closed from Leavenworth to Jones streets, reported KRON4.

The bomb that exploded was in a trash can.

A witness said that he heard a loud bang and saw smoke coming from the can. 

The suspect is being described as a white male in his 30s.
