Sadie Robertson says that her Dancing With the Stars partner is “great” and that he’s come like another brother for her.
“Mark’s great, Mark’s became like my brother,” she said in a new video blog that she and Bethany Mota posted.
“He’s so cool and chill and funny. The thing I’m going ot miss the most about this competition is just hanging out with Mark, because he’s just so fun.”
Bethany discussed her partner, Derek Hough, whom Sadie teamed up with last week in the special switch up episode.
“Derek’s a really awesome teacher,” she said.
“I was kind of worried that the rehearsals were going to be way too serious, but we both have a dorky, goofy side so that comes out a lot. We'll start speaking in random accents, or singing, and it’s actually kind of weird, but in a good way.”
Sadie, who revealed that the contestants have to be at the rehearsal also discussed something that annoys her about Mark.
“He’s always late to practice ... it’s been bad,” sometimes up to an hour. Bethany said Derek is that late sometimes as well.
“I was 15 minutes late one time, and he’s texting me like ‘do you just want to cancel today, you’re really late.’”
Sadie also says that Mark makes fun of her accent all the time.
Bethany said that Derek has a weird obsession with seams. “He'll just like grab a seam during rehearsals.”
Mark apparently likes to smell people’s shoes, saying that they’re supposed to smell bad after a good rehearsal.
Derek gets sweaty during rehearsals and Bethany finds it gross to touch him then.
And Mark makes a fart noise when Sadie does any type of bend or lunge. “It’s actually really funny,” Sadie said.
