Royal baby due date? A report said that the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s due date for her child’s birth is on July 13.

The Daily Mail tabloid said that a source close to Kate and Prince William announced the date at a family barbecue.

“Some of Kate and William’s closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently,” the source told the Mail. “They were all discussing the fact that Kate’s baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone was very excited,” added the source.

Kate has never specifically given out a due date for the child, but she only said it would take place some time in mid-July.

The Mail also reported that the baby will be born at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, which was the same place William was born.

The Clarence House Press Office told ABC News over the weekend that “the baby is expected to be born in July,” without elaborating.

It is also unclear what the baby’s name or gender will be.
