Route 17M Lane Closures in Middletown from Aug. 8 to 11

The Department of Transportation (DOT) advised motorists of lane closures on Route 17M beginning Monday, Aug. 8 and ending on Saturday, Aug. 13. The closures are expected to be between Abe Isseks Drive and County Route 78 in Middletown. Construction is expected to be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The DOT reminds drivers to pay attention and observe signs, flaggers, and all traffic devices.  Fines are doubled in work zones, the DOT reminds drivers, and two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in driver license suspension.
