Phoenix Suns v Los Angeles Lakers

New Orleans, Phoenix, and Minnesota have agreed on a seven-player trade, according to a report on the NBA’s website.

The report was from an anonymous source as the teams have yet to announce the deal due to routine logistical matters.

In the agreed upon trade, seven-footer Robin Lopez along with forward Hakim Warrick will go to New Orleans, Wesley Johnson and a future first-round pick will go from Minnesota to Phoenix, while the Timberwolves will receive Jerome Dyson and Brad Miller.

In addition Minnesota will receive two second-round picks from New Orleans, while the Hornets get cash.

For New Orleans, Robin Lopez gives them the center they need to allow rookie Anthony Davis to play power forward. Meanwhile, Minnesota gets the expiring contract of Brad Miller to clear cap space next season. The Suns, for their part, continue to build for the future with the draft pick and the third-year forward Johnson.
