Toronto Mayor Rob Ford said that in a profanity laced video that emerged of him, he was “extremely, extremely inebriated.”

The video, published by the Toronto Sun and the Toronto Star, shows Ford making wild comments about killing or maiming someone. The context of the video is unclear.

“I’ll rip his [expletive] throat out. I’ll poke his eyes out. . . . I’ll make sure that [expletive]’s dead,” he said.

“I’m going to kill that [expletive] guy. I’m telling you it’s first-degree murder ... He dies or I die, brother,” he also added.

Speaking with reporters at City Hall, Ford told the Star that he was under the influence when the video was shot.

An anonymous tipster sent the video to the Sun and the Star.
