Todd Christensen, a two-time Super Bowl winner with the Los Angeles Raiders, died on Wednesday, it was reported. He was 57.
BYU, his alma mater, confirmed his death.
“Former #BYU TE Todd Christensen passed away this morning due to complications from surgery. Our love & prayers are w/the Christensen family,” the school tweeted.
Christensen went to five Pro Bowls and helped the Raiders win Super Bowl XV and XVIII in 1981 and 1984, respectively. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Later, he did broadcasting with CBS Sports, NBC, and ESPN.
