The 90’s is back... Slightly... Richard Chai’s LOVE Collection was presented at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on Thursday to a Standing house, eager to share his LOVE.
David’s point of view seemed to focus on a vastly modern and expensive blast from the past. It was a subtle yet sophisticated engagement, easily wearable right off the runway!
Lines and fabric over pants and skirts, short and longer dresses with leather zippered jackets filled the runway. The grudge matted black on white longer tee over leather jacket and other fitted tops were featured as well as the urban-south beach styled short pleated skirt.
My favorite menswear look at the collection was a nice Gold short pant suit, I couldn’t ID the fabric, but looked very leisurely.
Chatting backstage with Richard one can see he is proud of his colaboration with Andrew Marc and has the Motor Sport leather jacket in his eyes..
