Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-N.Y.) confirmed Monday that she was diagnosed with a presumed CCP virus infection three days after she spoke on the House floor and stood near House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) when the $2 trillion stimulus bill was signed late last week.
“I developed the abrupt onset of muscle aches, fevers, nasal congestion and stomach upset. I noticed that I could no longer smell my perfume or taste my food,” said the 67-year-old Velazquez in a statement.
