Phaedra Parks of the Real Housewives of Atlanta said that she’s staying strong while her husband Apollo Nida is serving eight years in prison.
Parks gave an interview with HollywoodLife.com, saying her husband “is fine” while he’s in prison after pleading guilty on fraud charges earlier this year.
“Everything is good!” she told the site. “I have wonderful parents, a wonderful team that is very supportive. It takes a village to be a successful mom. I have a great staff with great people that are very supportive.”
She continued: “You know, challenges make people who they are, makes you stronger! I have never really focused on certain challenges because at the end of the day, challenges lead to more success.”
Meanwhile, Nida said that if Parks files for a divorce, he will launch an offensive against her for money
Speaking with In Touch Weekly, Nida said he “will not walk away empty-handed, considering all I’ve put into the marriage over the five years.”
He added, “That is completely fair, I think. It wouldn’t be right for her to just take everything and leave me with nothing to come home to.”
His biggest concern is not being able to see his two young sons--Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 1.
“I can’t see why she would continue to hurt me by not allowing me to see my boys,” Nida added. “This isn’t right. If I don’t see my children for eight years, that would be some bulls---, and I would fight for that right! Who in their right mind would allow children to be away from their father for eight years, regardless of where the father is at in the world?”
