LINKöPING, Sweden–Shen Yun Performing Arts captivated a full house audience in Linköping, Sweden, on Sunday, April 6. The theater’s own event manager, Anders Thorén, who was among the audience members, had high praise for the performance.
As event manager, Mr. Thorén sees many artists, and when it came to Shen Yun, the performance left him highly impressed.
“Artistically, it’s amazing,” he said. “The dancers and singers are terrific.”
Another aspect that struck him was the animated digital backdrops, which interacts with the dances on stage.
While the Shen Yun dancers are trained in classical Chinese dance, an art form with roots stretching back for millennia, state-of-the-art modern technology also plays an important part in the overall Shen Yun experience. “These digital backdrop designs complement and synchronize all aspects of the performance,” the Shen Yun website says.
“It’s really fun, the way they interact on stage with what is going on in the backdrop. I never saw that in any other show,” Mr. Thorén said.
Other features and aspects in the performance, such as the beautiful costumes and music, were appreciated by Mr. Thorén as well.
From his professional perspective, as event manager, he had high praise for Shen Yun.
“Everything was very, very good. Nothing really stands out, or perhaps rather everything stands out! Everything is world class, simply beautiful,” he said.
