Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton will watch LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers play the Brooklyn Nets in New York at the Barclay Center in December.

It was reported that the royal couple will be visiting the city next month for a charity.

The Royal Palace made the official announcement on Friday, issuing a statement about the trip.

“The charitable themes will include promoting sustainable conservation issues with a particular focus on collaborative working to tackle the illegal wildlife trade, and also supporting organisations which reflect Their Royal Highnesses’ interest in young people’s mental health and the importance supporting disadvantaged young people from an early age,” the statement reads.

The two will also visit the Sept. 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center in Manhattan.

“On Monday evening, Their Royal Highnesses will attend an NBA Basketball game to help launch a new collaboration between the Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife and the NBA,” the statement adds.

According to the Washington Post, that game will be a Nets-Cavs game. They’re attending the NBA game to help launch a new project involving Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife.

This week, Kate’s brother James Middleton talked about his sister and nephew.

“I still see Prince George as my nephew. I just want to be the best uncle possible. Like any uncle wants to be, I want to be the cool uncle. The fun uncle… That’s what sort of I'll always try and be,” he told ABC.

“I think what was the most wonderful thing,” he spoke of the day the prince was born. “Everybody was celebrating with us — for me becoming an uncle and for my parents becoming grandparents. They were all so excited.”

The Daily Mail, which first broke the story that William and Kate will be in New York City next month, said it is “likely” that Prince George will be brought along.

Currently, Kate is a few months’ pregnant with the couple’s second child.
