The gas prices in a Michigan town look like a mistake, but plenty of people are stopping by to make sure they’re real.

Prices per gallon in Houghton Lake have dropped to $0.53 per gallon at Beacon & Bridge Market.

The station is in a so-called “gas war” with nearby Marathon and Citgo, which are both selling gas at $0.95 per gallon, according to Gas Buddy.

Police officers have been dispatched to the area to deal with the heavy traffic.

“Vehicles are lined up. It’s crazy!!” said Facebook user Lezlie Holden Cook.

“Vehicles are lined up almost to the expressway. County Sheriff’s Department is out directing traffic,” added Beth Bowen King on Facebook.
