Portland State University in Portland, Ore., has issued a campus alert after students said they were threatened by a person armed with a gun.

The college issued a statement about the alert on its Twitter.

“PSU Alert: Two students report being threatened by a male, age 18-22, in a white range rover and displaying a handgun. Don’t approach,” the alert reads.

It was posted at 10:25 a.m. local time.

It’s unclear if the school was locked down.
