Port Columbus Airport: American Eagle Plane Searched Amid Bomb Threat Report

An American Eagle airplane was held at the airport in Port Columbus, Ohio, after reports of a bomb threat.

WCKX reported that the plane is at the end of a runway at the Port Columbus International Airport and is being searched. 

Other, preliminary reports suggest that the bomb was reported on the plane. There was a note left on board with a threat.

CNN reported that the plane was coming from Dallas. 

The plane was evacuated, reported 7 News. Around 138 people are on board the aircraft.

A K-9 unit was deployed to the plane airport, NBC reported.

The airport is located around six miles from Columbus, Ohio.
