City officials gave pop singer Madonna a summons ordering the removal of new yellow paint and a “No parking” sign that was posted outside her $40 million Manhattan home on East 81st.
Madonna did not take the notice too kindly and fired back on March 24 with a sarcastic Instagram post:
“Yes ... I am Madonna and that is my driveway and if people park in front of it i cant drive in my driveway!” Madonna wrote.
“So sorry the city doesn’t like the color yellow! We will paint a nice dull grey to keep our neighbors happy! Sorry??! Im saying 3 extra Hail Mary’s this Easter for this transgression!”
She feels like she owns the whole block.
