Officials named the first student, Ja'Nae Hornsby, who was killed when Plaza Towers Elementary School was destroyed a massive tornado in Oklahoma on Monday.

Hornsby was confirmed dead by by several media sources on Tuesday, her father told KJRH-TV.

He said her the nine-year-old girl’s body was found in the school’s rubble.

She was one of seven children who were killed in the tornado, which according to the National Weather Service, registered speeds of more than 200 miles per hour.

Her grandmother also told KOCO-TV on Tuesday that the girl was killed. The father described Ja’Nae as vibrant and always had a smile on her face.

“They like to play dress-up,” her aunt,  Angela Hornsby, told NBC News. “My daughter puts jewelry on them and I took pictures of them dancing together and they took video. They were just happy.”
