A plane was forced to return to Charlotte-Douglas airport after it suffered a flap problem, according to preliminary reports on Friday.

WSOC-TV reported that Chautauqua Airlines Flight 6405, on an Embraer 145, was slated to go to Cincinnati, Ohio.

The FAA told the station that the plane burned off some fuel and returned to the airport.

There were fire trucks at the end of the runway.

Two days ago, bees delayed a plane at Charlotte-Douglas airport, reported The Associated Press. A beekeeper was called in to remove them.
