OTISVILLE—The four-day Otisville Country Fair drew 30,000 to 40,000 people, estimates organizer Jim Jennings. The activities were as diverse as they were country—tractor pulls, a chain sawing competition, amusement park rides, animals, a pie eating contest, a car show, vendor booths, food, music, and much, much more.
This was the first year founder and organizer Dave Budd, who died last year at 71, was not at the fair. In memory of him and his wife Marilyn, who predeceased him, the fair was dedicated to them and Dave’s 1934 pickup was driven by his family in the parade.
