A woman in Florida is getting hundreds of phone calls that include death threats after someone posted her phone number online and said it was George Zimmerman’s.

The woman, Lori Tankel, said her number is one digit away from the number Zimmerman used to call police on the night he shot Trayvon Martin. The number was broadcast repeatedly throughout Zimmerman’s trial, which ultimately ended about eight days ago with Zimmerman being acquitted.

She got a surprise after someone posted her number online.

“My phone just started to blow up,” she told local broadcaster WFTV. “Phone call after phone call, multiple phone calls.”

Representative of some of the calls, one person said “We’re going to kill you, we’re going to get you--watch your back.”

Tankel called the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office to report what was happening.

“They said they were averaging 400 death threats per minute on social media sites, so what I was getting was just a drop in the bucket,” Tankel said.

She is planning on changing her number.
