Paul Walker was concerned for many years about Rebecca McBrain, the mother of his daughter Meadow Walker.

McBrain has had drinking problems over the years, getting arrested in 2003 and 2013 for driving under the influence.

She pled guilty to the former and has yet to be sentenced for the latter.

Meadow, now 15, called Walker in 2011 and “pleaded to let her move to L.A. and live with him,” sources told TMZ.

Walker was happy to say yes because he and McBrain, also known as Rebecca Soteros, had “countless arguments for years over her drinking problems.”

Since Walker’s death on November 30, 2013 in a car crash, Meadow has been living with her grandmother Cheryl Walker.

Per Walker’s will, Cheryl will likely become the guardian for Meadow, as well as the custodian of the $25 million that Walker left to Meadow.
