HONG KONG—Day 3 of the Hebe Haven Summer Saturday Series 2016 took place on Saturday July 9, 2016, with 2 geometric races planned.

A fleet of 34 boats took part in a variable south westerly wind of about 8 knots at the start. The weather was very humid and hot and even dressed in shorts and a light top many sailors were dipping their feet in the water to get some relief from the heat. I am sure many would have like to dive in for a refreshing swim.

Several boats overstepped the line at the start of the IRC Division Summer Saturday Series race in Port Shelter on July 9, 2016, causing a general recall. (Bill Cox/Epoch Times)
