Orange Bowl officials have banned the Stanford University band from playing during halftime, fearing that they might pull some kind of stunt, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The bowl pits No. 5 Stanford against No. 12 Virginia Tech. League officials said they made the ban on the band because of the name of the performance.

The performance is entitled “Recent Events in the Pro Sports World in Miami,” which administrators apparently thought had to do with mocking LeBron James’ move to the Miami Heat.

The Stanford Marching Unit Team has pulled a number of stunts in the past, including coming out of a bloody-handprint covered white van to mock OJ Simpson in the 1990s.

Due to their antics, the band has been banned from many campuses as well as the entire state of Oregon, according to MSNBC.
