Official Jerusalem Facebook Page Posts Action Hero Memes of Mayor After He Stopped Street Knife Attack

The city of Jerusalem has posted a series of action hero photos of its mayor on Facebook after the mayor intervened to stop a knife attack on city streets.

Still riding high on newfound celebrity after stopping a vicious knife attack on Feb. 22, the city of Jerusalem posted Internet meme pictures of the mayor on the city’s official Facebook page.

The four photos include Mayor Nir Barkat walking away from a massive explosion, his head photoshopped into a scene from “The Matrix” stopping bullets, and another photo of him in front of a Batman costume. The main photo features Barkat’s head photoshopped onto the body of a famous photo of Chuck Norris with a partially open shirt as he brandishes two uzis.
