Police have confirmed that multiple people have been shot in Oakland on Monday evening.
Around seven were shot near Verdese Carter Park, KRON-4 reported.
The extent of the injuries is unclear.
KGO reported that Oakland Police Department said the shooting was located near Olive and 96th Ave.
Police called on nearby residents to stay indoors, KTVU reported.
A K-9 dog could be released to find the suspect, who is believed to be on the run.
