Two NYPD officers were charged on Monday for a $1 million perfume warehouse heist they allegedly conducted on Feb. 9 in New Jersey. The men used their own ID cards to rent trucks they used in the heist, said officials via a CBS report.
The men face conspiracy charges in connection with the robbery and face up to 20 years behind bars.
The men stole the perfume from the In Style USA Inc. warehouse in Carlstadt, New Jersey. Police were able to locate two of the trucks but several others have not yet been found. Several other men, including another NYPD officer, were arrested on Friday and are still in custody.
