Nurse Charged With Stealing Dead CCP Virus Patient’s Credit Card

A nurse in Staten Island, New York, is accused of stealing the credit card of a patient dying from the CCP virus and using it to purchase groceries, authorities said.

Danielle Conti, 43, who worked at Staten Island University Hospital, is facing several charges including grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny, officials said. They said she used a dying patient’s credit card to purchase groceries and gas, ABC7 reported.
