Nujabes--the hip hop producer who died tragically in a car accident four years ago--was remembered on Friday.
Nujabes, who was born Seba Jun in Tokyo on Feb. 7, 1974, died in February 2010.
He was born on the same day as Detroit-area producer J Dilla, who died in 2006.
On Twitter, both were remembered.
“I wish nujabes and J Dilla still alive,” one wrote.
Said another, “Not only is it Dilla Bday but also Nujabes. Both great producers.”
“Happy Birthday J Dilla & Nujabes! RIP,” added another.
