The NFL’s review of Cleveland Browns quarterback—and former Heisman Trophy winner—Johnny Manziel’s police investigation of the Jan. 30 incident “is ongoing” according to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello who talked to Cleveland.com.
For Manziel it’s the second time in the last three months that he’s been investigated by the NFL for a domestic incident following the October situation with his girlfriend Colleen Crowley.
The latest drama involved police responding to an incident at an apartment building near the campus of Texas Christian University—where Crowley is a student—on the morning of Jan. 30. Although it’s unclear whether Crowley was the one who called the police or not, a 23-year-old female had reported she was involved in a disturbance with Manziel.
