A shooting in Newark, New Jersey, left one person dead and three wounded on Friday evening, it was reported.
News 12 reported that the shooting took place on 18th Avenue and Livingston Street after 6:30 p.m.
A total of four people were shot.
Police have not released any information about the names of victims or the conditions of those who were injured.
A suspect also was not named, according to the broadcaster.
Earlier this year, Newark was ranked among the top 10 most dangerous cities in the U.S., according to CNN. The city’s murder rate stands at 33.8 per 100,000 residents.
