A tornado was reported in Duanesburg, located in upstate New York, on Thursday afternoon.
A warning was issued for Albany, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Schoharie.
The National Weather Service issue the warnings at around 3:45 p.m. local time.
On Twitter, reports indicated that a tornado was spinning on the ground in Duanesburg.
WFMJ meteorologist Eric Wilhelm wrote on Twitter: “3:59pm: Debris being picked up on radar with tornado in Upstate New York, near Duanesburg.”
