The New York Times website was down on Thursday afternoon for several minutes--just several weeks after it was offline for several hours.
The website showed a “Http/1.1 Service Unavailable” error.
Isitdownrightnow.com said that the website is “unavailable,” saying that it is “under maintenance.” However, this has not been confirmed by the Times.
The Times has not yet issued a statement about its website being down.
However, after a few minutes, the website was apparently back up.
