New York Missing Person Found to Have Been Staying in Hospital For Two Days

|Updated:

A missing person that was the subject of numerous flyers dotting Flushing Main street in Queens, New York, during the latter half of the week has been found.

Maria Marrero, 28, was declared missing since Thursday, when she failed to show up for her work shift as an Emergency Medical Technician for the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament being held in Flushing Meadows, New York. Family members that had not heard from Marrero then filed a missing persons report with the NYPD 107th Precinct and distributed fliers.

Marrero, who is mother to an 11-year-old daughter, had called the ambulance on Thursday morning when she felt ill upon leaving her house, an NYPD spokesperson told the New York Daily News. Marrero has since been staying at the Long Island Jewish hospital.
