A shooting outside the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C. prompted an evacuation on Monday.

One man was shot outside the gate in the 3000 block of Connecticut Avenue, reported NBC.

There’s no word on the condition yet.

Police are reportedly searching for two black teenage suspects.

One is wearing a black shirt and another is wearing a purple shirt, reported WUSA9.

Thousands of visitors were at the zoo on “African American Day & Easter Monday.”
