MSNBC has cut ties with TV host Melissa Harris-Perry after she had a private fight with the network, according to reports on Sunday.
She told CNN and other outlets that her reps are in talks with MSNBC about an exit deal.

I care only about substantive, meaningful, and autonomous work. When we can do that, I will return.

MSNBC channel preempted her for campaign coverage with the “Place for Politics” title.
“While MSNBC may believe that I am worthless, I know better,” she also wrote, per The New York Times. “I know who I am. I know why MHP Show is unique and valuable. I will not sell short myself or this show. I am not hungry for empty airtime. I care only about substantive, meaningful, and autonomous work. When we can do that, I will return — not a moment earlier.”
Her show ran from 10 a.m. to noon.
