Photos surfaced on Monday of New York City workers abusing corpses. Several morgue workers took photos of themselves in the morgue using various body parts of the dead bodies as props.
The photos, some dated 2004 and others are undated, were obtained by the New York Post. One photo shows a man about to throw a severed head. A former morgue worker, Kaihl Brassfield, admitted to the New York Post that some workers did participate in the abuse.
For several years, mortuary workers, police officers, and other city workers participated. Brassfield said his photos were stolen last November. The abuse allegedly took place at Staten Island and Brooklyn morgues, according to UPI.
