Montana: Snow Beginning to Fall; Up to 8 Inches Expected in Great Falls, Helena

Snow is beginning to fall in Montana on Sunday night, and up to eight inches is expected to fall in Great Falls and Helena.

Projections have those two cities at 4 to 8 inches, and Bozeman at 2 to 4 inches.

The snow is also projected to hit Dillon, Lewistown, Fort Benton, and Cut Bank, among other cities and towns. 

“Expect conditions to rapidly deteriorate late tonight, especially after midnight,” the National Weather Service’s Great Falls office said via Twitter.

It also said that snow is already sticking to some roadways in Glacier County.
