Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) met on Wednesday morning after President Donald Trump announced he would call off talks on a broader stimulus deal, while simultaneously pushing for targeted aid to airline companies and $1,200 stimulus payments.

According to a Twitter post from Pelosi’s spokesman Drew Hammill, the two spoke over the phone.
