Melania Trump is in the news again.

Her website was taken down this week after speculation that she lied about her college degree on her site’s biography.

Trump would be the First Lady if her husband, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, is elected.

The biography section of her professional website said she had earned a degree in design and architecture.

“At the age of eighteen, she signed with a modeling agency in Milan,” the biography states.

“After obtaining a degree in design and architecture at University in Slovenia, Melania was jetting between photo shoots in Paris and Milan, finally settling in New York in 1996,” said her website’s biography section, which no longer exists.

However, an unauthorized biography by Slovenian journalists Bojan Pozar and Igor Omerza wrote Trump “became ― and remained ― a college dropout” after leaving the University of Ljubljana’s architecture school following her freshman year, according to the Huffington Post.

“Melanjia would have made it to her sophomore year, even having failed 2 exams, but she was supposed to have gotten and held a 1-month internship and kept a journal about it,” the journalists wrote.

Melania Knauss later told media, after she and Donald Trump were officially together, “that she got her degree in architecture and design.”

The writers suspect that this remark was “almost certainly” due to Donald Trump and his adviser’s wish that the beauty would be seen as well educated.

Melania Trump’s website was taken down after the Huffington Post broke the story. Her site is now redirected to Trump’s organizational site.
