“Mass Effect 4,” the upcoming RPG offering from BioWare, is already playable, the company’s manager wrote on Twitter. No release date was offered.

The Mass Effect sequel, Aaryn Flynn wrote, is “Ambitious. Beautiful. Fresh but recognizable. And fun."

He said he had a “great time playing the next Mass Effect game in Montreal.”

Flynn did not say much more about the game.

He only tweeted out a picture of the BioWare logo and no screeshots of gameplay.

It is unclear when the game will be released.

The last game in the franchise, “Mass Effect 3,” left some gamers with a sour taste in their mouths--with many saying the game felt rushed. It was released in 2010.
