Mary Hart, when she retires from Entertainment Tonight after spending three decades on the show, will have her spot taken by Nancy O’Dell, according to CNN on Tuesday.

“I remember watching Entertainment Tonight when it first premiered and dreaming about working for the show someday!” O'Dell told CNN in a statement. “It is the original and the gold standard of entertainment news shows. Needless to say, I am thrilled that my dream has come true.”

Hart, who recently turned 60, is leaving the show at the end of the season.

“Leaving this job was not an easy decision, but knowing I will pass the baton to Nancy O'Dell makes that decision much easier,” Hart said, according to TV Guide magazine.

O’Dell, 44, formerly hosted ET’s celebrity news competitor Access Hollywood, and she will pick up where Hart left off alongside co-host Mark Steines.

Hart also appeared as a correspondent for the Today show and Dateline on NBC. She appeared as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars but injured her knee and had to leave the show early.
