Manny Pacquiao, who faced Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2015’s mega-fight, threw out a final verbal “punch” before Mayweather’s fight against Conor McGregor on Aug. 26.
Mayweather tweeted: “Talking doesn’t win fights.”
In response, Pacquiao took a shot at him on Twitter: “but running does ;) God bless on your fight tonight!”
He’s likely referring to Mayweather’s elusive and defensive boxing style---which has drawn both criticism and praise from many.
Mayweather defeated Pacquiao via unanimous decision in an overdue fight called “The Fight of the Century.”
