Man Wins Lottery Six Days After Surviving Plane Crash in Dubai

The plane he had traveled on, EK521, which was carrying 300 people crash-landed in Dubai before it caught on fire. All the passengers and crew on the plane escaped. However, a local firefighter battling the blaze died.
“We can confirm that there are no fatalities among our passengers and crew. All passengers and crew are accounted for and safe,” Emirates said in a statement on Aug. 3.
