Disney’s Magic Kingdom is near capacity on New Year’s Eve, with hours-long waits for many of the rides in the Orlando theme park.
People at the park said via Twitter that wait times for rides reached above two-and-a-half hours, with the wait for Soarin', for example, up to 4 hours.
“As you can imagine, the holidays are always a popular time to visit a Disney theme park,” Walt Disney World spokeswoman Kathleen Prihoda told My13News.
Despite the long lines, people said they were having a good time.
“I love it,” said Scarlett Litton via Twitter. “We do this every year.”
Because of the large crowds, the park is letting new people in in phases.
