This Saturday’s MAGCON: Atlanta is still going on amid rumors that the Vine tour group is breaking up.
On the group’s website, it said that Saturday and Sunday’s dates are still going on. On the website, it said tickets were still available.
It’s featuring Aaron Carpenter, Taylor Caniff, Matthew Espinosa, Jack Gilinsky, Jack Johnson, DJ Mahogany LOX, Jacob Whitesides, Willie Jones, Dillon Rupp, Sammy Wilkinson, Nick Tangorra Band, and Dustyn Carpenter.
On YouTube, one of the members, Nash Grier, said that the group won’t use the name MAGCON anymore amid disputes with his management, which oversees Carter Reyolds, Hayes Grier, and Cameron Dallas.
He said, “If anything, you guys should be more excited about this, because we’re doing what we were doing, except we’re going to be more happy.
“That means you guys are going to be more happy, because we are going to be more happy to do stuff for you. So be excited for the future; a lot of stuff to come.”
Several of the members on Thursday and Friday said that the group was essentially breaking up, but Grier stressed that the group is still going on, but without the MAGCON name. After several of the members sent out the tweets, MAGCON trended on Twitter, and a number of people posted things like “#CutforMAGCON”. It’s unclear if fans actually cut themselves over the news.
