One Direction has announced its new album, Four, to its legions of fans.

The group gave away a track, Fireproof, as a “thank you” for free. It can be downloaded on their website.

Four will be released on November 17.

Band member Niall Horan elaborated: “Because you have supported us so much, we wanted to give a little something back,” Sky News reported

Fireproof was written by Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, along with songwriters John Ryan, Jamie Scott, and Julian Bunetta.

On the group’s website, they said, “We’re so excited to announce our fourth album, FOUR! We’ve worked incredibly hard writing and recording it whilst we’ve been on the road and we couldn’t have done it without your support. It’s over now, but we hope you enjoyed the free download of ‘FIREPROOF’. We can’t wait for you to listen to the album in full. Thank you, you guys mean the world to us.”

This weekend, Tomlinson played a charity football match after hanging out with Niall Horan during his 21st birthday in London.

According to the Daily Mail, Tomlinson was seen in Glasgow to play the match at Celtic Park.

“You look at the names of who’s played at Wembley and you almost feel like you’re not worthy of it. We just feel like we’re just little scumbags,” he said of the band’s success. “For people like us to be playing stadiums, it’s just the biggest thing in the world.”

And the news comes as Taylor Swift claims she hasn’t been “on a date” since she split with Harry Styles.

According to Rolling Stone, “Like, have not gone on a dat. People are going to feel sorry for me when you write that. But it’s true. Seventy percent of the time, when a guy asks me out, it'll just be a random e-mail.”
