Look Good, Feel Good

I was recently invited to a Metropolitan Museum opening, and apart from the event, I was very interested in how the women were dressed.

There were a number of young women employed by the MET who were working there—all pretty, young, and dressed appropriately.

They were not dressed “professionally” (and I mean this in a good way) in severe black suits, but in floral, colored dresses, skirts, and blouses. They all looked really lovely.

The guests also looked lovely. Again, very few seemed to be dressed “professionally” in black. A number of them were wearing pants, sweaters, and jewelry.

It could have been that it was a spring-like evening, but I prefer to think that it was the result of women looking nice.
