Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.) issued a joint statement Sunday praising President Donald Trump for signing the $2.3 trillion pandemic relief and spending bill after months of negotiations, averting a partial government shutdown that would have begun on Dec. 29.

“Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, COVID relief is again on its way to the millions of Georgia families and businesses who need it most,” the Georgia GOP senators said ahead of their runoff races next week.
