NEW YORK—The penthouse at the top of 325 LEX in Midtown has 1,136 square feet of private outdoor terrace, views of the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge, and an asking price of $8.5 million.
The 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom penthouse residence is on the 33rd floor. It boasts three outdoor terraces—a 140-square-foot one off the master bedroom on the southeast corner, a 340-square-foot one the southwest corner accessible from the great room, and a 528-square-foot rooftop terrace accessible by stairs on the southwest terrace.
Inside, the penthouse is 2,477 square feet with 11-foot ceilings. The great room, located on the northwest corner, has floor to ceiling windows to the north and west, and a custom marble and steel fireplace.
The windows at the breakfast bar in the eat-in kitchen have views of the Empire State Building, which incidentally is also visible from the great room, as well as the southwest terraces, including the private roof terrace.
The master bedroom was designed with two people in mind. It has two large walk-in-closets in the private hallway leading to the room, and a spacious marble en-suite, which is the largest bathroom in the house. The en-suite has east exposure windows, an extra generous shower, and two hand basins at the vanity.
“This home is like a private oasis perfect for entertaining ... You'll never forget you’re in the heart of Manhattan,” said Yejin Berman, a sales associate for the building.
