The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Denver Nuggets in their first preseason game on Monday night.

The game at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California will tipoff at 7 p.m. PST (10 p.m. EDT).

It will be broadcast on TWC SportsNet and NBA TV.

Live streaming will be available through TWC as well as unofficial sources.

The Lakers are expected to start Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Wesley Johnson, Carlos Boozer, and Jordan Hill. That notably leaves Jeremy Lin and Julius Randle coming off the bench.

The Nuggets are expected to start Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, and Javale McGee.

Lakers coach Byron Scott is looking forward to seeing Nash and Bryant play.

“To be where they are today in training camp, I’m ecstatic,” Scott said following Sunday’s practice at the Lakers’ facility in El Segundo, reported the L.A. Daily News.

“They exceeded my expectations in training camp and came into much better condition than I thought they would. Both guys are a ways away, obviously. But right now for them to be where they are at this time, I’m extremely happy.”

It will be Bryant’s first game since December 17, 2013 and Nash’s first game since April 8, 2014. It will be their first game together since March 30, 2014.

“He’s dealt really well with the rust and he’s moving very well,” Lakers trainer Gary Vitti said of Bryant. “But granted, he hasn’t played in a game. He’s scrimmaged, but that’s not the same. Part of the rehab process is actually playing. Your body is going to adapt to the loads that your body puts on during the game.”

The Lakers open the regular season on October 28 at Staples Center against the Houston Rockets.
